St. Louis Rolls Past Tacoma

Those who thought that Tacoma’s superior defense would prove beneficial in its three-game Western Division semifinals against St. Louis’ superior offense, may want to re-think their position.

St. Louis scored a 9-2 victory over the Stars in Major Soccer League playoff action Tuesday night.

Preki led the barrage with four goals, including three in the first half.

The series resumes Thursday in Tacoma. The winner will play the Sockers beginning April 18.
