ICN Biomedicals Inc.: The Costa Mesa biotechnology and diagnostic products company said that net income for the first quarter dropped 42% to $1.1 million from $1.9 million for last year’s first quarter. Sales for the quarter ended Feb. 28 declined 10% to $29.7 million from $32.9 million a year earlier.
