PLACENTIA : 4 Youths Hold 5 at Bay, Ransack House
Three youths forced themselves into a residence Friday and ransacked the place, holding a woman and four children at gunpoint, police said.
Police said the youths, two of whom were armed with revolvers, knocked on the victims’ door and asked to speak to a woman who was not home.
When another woman, identified as Say Phao, 59, opened the door, the robbers forced themselves inside the house, which is in the 900 block of Ott Avenue, police said.
The youths then ransacked the house, stealing $200 worth of food stamps and $40 in cash, police said.
The victims were unharmed, police said.
