Philadelphia Exchange Reportedly Rejects Bid: The Philadelphia Stock Exchange’s board has rejected a $60-million offer by the Chicago Board Options Exchange to acquire Philadelphia’s equity and currency options businesses, sources at the Philadelphia exchange said. A CBOE spokesman declined to comment. The Chicago exchange has not confirmed it made the offer, which Philadelphia said it received earlier this month from an exchange it declined to identify.
