A country jamboree benefiting Ivey Ranch Park will incorporate a full day of Old West activities, from square dancing to horseshoe tossing. The hoedown will be held from 10 a.m. to dusk Sunday at the park across from the Mission San Luis Rey on Mission Avenue in Oceanside.

Musical acts include The Joel Reese Band, Char Carroll & Durango, Jodilee & Southern Gold, and Fats Johnson & Country Cookin’. Other entertainers include KOW disc jockey Bob Kelly, KKOS host Rone Lane, the Raider Cheerleaders and Molly Bee, formerly a regular on “The Tennessee Ernie Ford Show.”

Comedy, pony rides, food and beverage booths, square dancing and a fashion show will also be featured throughout the day. A fast-draw tournament and a raffle round out the festivities. Admission and parking are free. Proceeds will benefit Ivey Ranch Park for the physically handicapped and mentally retarded.
