BASEBALL DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE MAJOR LEAGUES : Reds’ Dibble, Astros’ Yelding Suspended
Cincinnati Red Rob Dibble was suspended for three games for throwing at Houston’s Eric Yelding in Thursday’s game at Cincinnati, and Yelding was suspended for one game for charging Dibble and throwing his helmet at him. . . . Boston Red Sox pitcher Roger Clemens and his brother, Gary, were indicted by a Harris County (Tex.) grand jury on misdemeanor charges stemming from a January altercation with an off-duty police officer. . . . Chicago Cub Manager Don Zimmer said Rick Sutcliffe will be activated today and will start at Pittsburgh tonight. Sutcliffe had shoulder surgery May 7 and spent most of 1990 on the disabled list.
