Raider, Ram Schedules Announced

If the Rams are going to flip-flop from their 5-11 flop of 1990, the NFL schedulemakers have decided that they will have to prove it early. Or else.

The Rams will open the season at home against the Phoenix Cardinals on Sept. 1, then work their way through three consecutive road games against playoff teams, beginning with the Super Bowl champion New York Giants and followed by the New Orleans Saints and the San Francisco 49ers.

Including the Rams’ next game, against the Green Bay Packers at Anaheim Stadium, their first five opponents were a combined 5-1 against them a season ago (they didn’t play Phoenix).
