Students to Attend Anti-Smoking Summit
Shawndra Grunder of Durfee School and Ron Madore of Columbia School in the El Monte City School District will attend the Summit for Tobacco Free California 26 at the Sacramento Convention Center on Friday.
The conference for seventh- and eighth-graders is part of a campaign for prevention of smoking by children and young adults. It is funded by the Tobacco Control Section of the Department of Health Services.
