Rich With Remorse: Former child actor Adam Rich, arrested twice this month in Los Angeles, says he is embarrassed and realizes he has a problem. “I don’t know why this happened but I know I am sick. I have a disease,” said Rich, charged with breaking into a pharmacy to steal morphine and a few days later shoplifting at a department store. “Some people are saying it was a cry for help, and I guess that’s right. I am very remorseful, very embarrassed,” said Rich, 22, who appeared as a youngster on “Eight Is Enough.”
