NEWPORT BEACH : Dinner to Honor Newest Sister City

Share

City officials are hosting a diplomatic dinner May 2 to honor Newport Beach’s newest sister city, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Felipe Soria-Ayuso, Mexican consul, and Newport Beach Mayor Phil Sansone will be among the guests.

Both cities held dedication ceremonies and signed sister city declarations last month in Cabo San Lucas. The Mexican city joins Okazaki, Japan, and Antibes, France, as sister cities to Newport Beach. The program promotes international understanding through business and cultural exchanges.
