The so-called “A’s Bandit” struck again Wednesday, the 28th time the bank robber has struck in San Diego, police said.
This time, the robber hit a branch of California Federal Bank at 7728 Regents Road in La Jolla just after 10:30 a.m. He handed a demand note to the bank teller, who turned over less than $1,000, San Diego police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
