Boy Dies Inhaling Butane Gas That Caught Fire

WARMINSTER, Pa. —
A 17-year-old boy who was inhaling butane gas with friends to get high died after he blew the flammable gas on a flame and inhaled the fire, authorities said. Bucks County Coroner Thomas J. Rosko said Fred J. Karthauser blew the butane over the flame to create “this flame-throwing effect.”
