Standard Brands Paint Co.: The Torrance-based paint retailer reported a net loss of $6.9 million for fiscal year 1990, which included a $4.7-million restructuring charge for the closing of its Texas operations in September, 1990, and $1.2 million for discontinued operations. The loss contrasts with a profit of $3.7 million in fiscal 1989. Revenue slipped 6% to $293.6 million.
