Woman, 76, Killed in Intersection Accident
A 76-year-old Woodland Hills woman was killed Friday when a motorist ran a red light and collided with her vehicle, police said.
Edith Kozlowski was riding in the front seat of a car driven by her husband, Harry, when their vehicle was hit by a pickup truck driven by Kenneth Sabian, 21, of Calabasas, at the intersection of Fallbrook Avenue and Sherman Way, Los Angeles police said.
Harry Kozlowski, 85, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Humana Hospital West Hills and later released, a hospital spokesperson said.
Sabian was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, police said.
