Bally Manufacturing to Sell Lottery Business: The Chicago corporation is peddling the instant lottery ticket and video lottery business of its subsidiary, Scientific Games Inc., for an undisclosed price. The buyer is a new company formed by senior management of Scientific Games and Centre Capital Investors LP, an affiliate of Lazard Freres & Co. The sale is the first of several planned in Bally’s restructuring, Chairman Arthur M. Goldberg said. Scientific Games is the largest producer of instant lottery tickets in the world.
