Camera Platforms Reports Quarterly Loss of $480,209

Camera Platforms International Inc. reported a $480,209 loss for the first quarter, compared with a $613,135 loss a year earlier.

The Valencia provider of production equipment for the movie and television industries said the narrower loss came on a 30% increase in its revenue, to $682,091 in the quarter ended March 31 from $524,447.

Camera Platforms attributed the revenue gains to higher sales of high-intensity lamps used in film production.
