Ice Cream Vendor Critically Stabbed
An ice cream vendor was in critical condition Monday night after he was stabbed while pushing his cart down a street in the Talmadge area, San Diego police said.
Jesus Areallano Bustos, 22, was approached by several men near 50th Street and Trojan Avenue about 5:30 p.m., police said.
After a brief exchange, one of the men stabbed Bustos in the chest and side, then fled. Bustos was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
