Gish Biomedical Inc.: The Santa Ana manufacturer of medical devices said its third-quarter earnings rose 8% to $438,000 from $405,000 in the year-earlier period. Sales for the quarter ended March 31 rose to $5 million from $4.9 million. For the nine-month period, earnings were up 38% to $1.3 million from $948,000 for the like period last year. Sales increased 12% to $14.7 million from $13.1 million.
