Science / Medicine : Museum Exhibits Wildlife Paintings

The birds and mammals of North America and wildlife from other parts of the world are highlighted in “Wildlife Paintings by Guy Coheleach,” now at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.

The exhibit features 40 paintings by Coheleach, who has been honored for his realistically detailed studies of animals in their natural environments.

Drawing on Coheleach’s extensive research and firsthand experiences in the wild, the paintings will be on display at the museum in Exposition Park through Aug. 4. Call (213) 744-3466.
