Television stations based in Orange County won three Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards Saturday night during ceremonies in Pasadena. Independent KDOC Channel 56 in Anaheim received a trophy for Information Segments, for “I Can Hear the Laughter” from “A New Beginning,” and a Special Class-Program Area Emmy for “John Michael Talbot--Quiet Reflections.” KOCE Channel 50, the county’s PBS outlet in Huntington Beach, won for best Instructional Series, “Psychology: The Study of Human Behavior.” Story, F4.
