President Bush is avoiding strenuous exercise, but he “feels fine” and is no longer battling afternoon fatigue, White House Press Secretary Marlin Fitzwater said. Bush skipped his usual athletic events, except for walks, during a weekend at Camp David, Md., and is avoiding regular coffee, Fitzwater said. Bush was diagnosed May 8 as having Graves’ disease, a thyroid disorder blamed for the irregular heartbeat he has suffered.
