Atari, Tengen Win Reprieve: A federal judge agreed to allow Atari Games Corp. and Tengen Inc. to continue marketing Nintendo-compatible video games while a copyright dispute with Nintendo of America is appealed. U.S. District Judge Fern Smith ordered a stay of her March preliminary injunction against Tengen for six months or until the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rules on the case.
