Sony Corp.: The Japanese electronics and entertainment giant said yearly earnings jumped 13.7% to $829.3 million. Revenue surged 25.6% to $25.6 billion. The company’s entertainment division, which owns Columbia Pictures Entertainment, had an operating profit of $339 million for the year on $5.25 billion in revenue.
