Six people were arrested and $2,000 worth of LSD seized as narcotics detectives concluded a two-month investigation, authorities said Tuesday.

Detectives set up a surveillance on Ian Crockett, 19, at his house on Queensbury Street and the business where he worked in The Oaks Mall after they received information that he was selling LSD out of both places, Ventura County Sheriff’s Sgt. Gary Pentis said.

They saw apparent narcotics transactions and arrested Crockett and five other suspects at Crockett’s residence at 6 p.m. Monday, Pentis said.

Detectives then seized about 400 hits of LSD with an approximate value of $2,000, Pentis said.

Arrested on suspicion of possessing dangerous drugs and conspiracy to sell dangerous drugs were Crockett; Rosemary Burnette, 18; Eric Gassman, 18; and Jennifer Holland, 20, Pentis said. Also arrested were two 17-year-olds who were subsequently released to their parents, authorities said.

Crockett was released from Ventura County Jail on his own recognizance, a jail spokesman said. Burnette was released after she posted bail. Gassman and Holland remained in custody on $20,000 bail, he said.
