Advanced Logic Raises $12.5 Million: Advanced Logic Research Inc., the Irvine manufacturer of personal computers, raised about $12.5 million in a secondary public offering. The company issued 1 million shares of common stock at $12.50 per share. ALR plans to use the money for working capital, debt reduction and investment in the company’s manufacturing operation in Singapore. The company raised $36 million in an initial public offering in April, 1990.
