Bomb Damages Basilica of Sacre Coeur in Paris

PARIS —
A bomb exploded early Tuesday at the Basilica of Sacre Coeur, damaging a bronze door but causing no injuries, police said. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the 5 a.m. blast.
The white basilica in the Roman-Byzantine style, resembling a wedding cake, dominates Paris’ northern skyline from its perch on the hill of Montmartre.
