Del Monte Speaks

On April 28, The Times published a letter from Larry Sullivan of Venice quoting me, correctly, as saying the Venice Community Planning Advisory Council, on which I served, had not obtained any affordable housing. He then suggests that I was resigning because of this. That is not correct.
And I certainly do not agree with Sullivan’s assessment that the Galanter legacy, as represented by the Venice CPAC, is bankrupt.
Sullivan is free to state his opinions. He should not put them in my mouth.
