If I had to chose my favorite newscaster it would be Joanne Ishimine (KABC Channel 7).

Beautiful, enthusiastic, hard-working, she not only co-anchors the weekend news and sits in for those who are “on assignment” but she is often out in the field covering fires, storms, etc.

Long overdue after all these years, it’s time she did the weekday nightly news.
