Vons Sets Price for Share Sale: The supermarket chain announced that it has priced an offering of 10,964,348 shares of common stock at $28 a share. Arcadia-based Vons said the offering consists of 4.5 million new shares, 6.2 million shares being sold by Arcadia Partners and RMB Vons Partners and 259,500 shares being sold by management.
