Prince William’s Skull Fractured

LONDON —
A schoolmate swinging a golf club Monday fractured the skull of Prince William, 8, son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Buckingham Palace said.
The injury was accidental and not life-threatening but required a 70-minute operation to correct a depressed fracture on the boy’s forehead, a spokesman said.
William is second in line to the British throne.
