J.R.’s OPEC Deal: Actor Larry Hagman, who during his tenure as J.R. Ewing on “Dallas” cut many an oil deal, sat down Wednesday with representatives of OPEC nations in Vienna and the talk, naturally, turned to the oil business. Hagman suggested the price of oil ought to be $36 a barrel--more than $15 above the current level. The idea was warmly received by, among others, Kuwaiti Oil Minister Hamoud al-Rogba, who said he’d seen J.R. in action on “Dallas.” Hagman and his former “Dallas” co-star Linda Gray are appearing in the play “Love Letters” at Vienna’s English Theater.
