Sen. John Seymour

Share

You paint Seymour as some kind of shadowy figure because he may have been prematurely reported as a millionaire and portray him as a mouthpiece for the real-estate industry.

Both charges seem to obfuscuate the fact that Seymour has devoted many years to public service, both as an elected representative and as an industry official serving his peers. If you eliminate all the legislators who champion various special-interest groups, you would have very few politicians representing the people.

Seymour is in the process of outlining his agenda and I hope that he will be judged, come election time, on his wide-ranging support of a variety of issues and causes.
