Pasadena : Council Funds for Festival
The City Council Tuesday agreed to absorb $3,569 in costs for the Aug. 24 Old Pasadena Summer Festival.
Colorado Boulevard, from Pasadena Avenue to Arroyo Parkway, and Delacey Avenue, from Green to Union streets, will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to midnight during the festival.
The event is sponsored by the Old Pasadena Business and Professional Assn., American Cancer Society and The Sycamores, a home for abused children. Proceeds benefit the cancer society and the home.
