Nation IN BRIEF : FLORIDA : Four Judges’ Homes Raided in Bribe Case

Federal agents in Miami raided the residences of four Dade County circuit judges who had been under investigation for allegedly accepting bribes for suppressing evidence and reducing bonds. U.S. Atty. Dexter Lehtinen said the investigation began more than 1 1/2 years ago and included the prosecution of fictitious cases with undercover officers serving as defendants.
