Charles M. Clough has been named chairman...

Charles M. Clough has been named chairman of Wyle Laboratories, succeeding Stanley A. Wainer, 65, who has retired.

Clough, 62, will also continue as president and chief executive of the El Segundo-based firm.

Wainer will continue to serve as a director on Wyle’s board and will be chairman of the Executive Committee.

Wainer first joined Wyle in 1962 as vice president of finance and served as president of Wyle from 1970 until 1985. He was named chief executive in 1979 and chairman of the board in 1984.

Wyle is a leading marketer of high-technology electronic components and computer systems.
