Lakers Didn’t Win It, but Season Shouldn’t Be Called a Total Loss
- Share via
I am really tired of the bunch of know-it-alls who are spewing dribble all over TV, radio and newspapers about the Lakers being a bunch of old, timid losers.
Wake up! The Lakers went to the finals and if they had taken the overtime game, the series would have been 2-2. And where did these experts expect the Lakers to be in June? At home watching the finals and grumbling about finishing somewhere between Phoenix and Seattle.
Like Magic and other players, the real Laker fans cannot be fully content with ending the season without a championship. But we can still be proud that we got there.
