330 Pounds of Cocaine Found in Asphalt

STOCKHOLM — Customs officials found 330 pounds of cocaine hidden in two barrels of Venezuelan asphalt. Officials said Friday that the discovery in the coastal city of Goteborg was one of the largest seizures of cocaine in Sweden.
Duty Police Officer John Persson said two men had been taken into custody on suspicion of narcotics smuggling. He provided no further details.
Police estimated that the cocaine had a street value of $80 million.
