Ethel M. Turner, retired head of the women’s costume department at Warner Bros., has died at the Motion Picture & Television Country House in Woodland Hills. She was 92.

A longtime Canyon Country resident, Mrs. Turner died Thursday of complications of her advanced age, said a friend, Norma Brown.

Born Ethel Mackinzie in England, she came to the United States in 1937 and that year began working as a costumer for Warner Bros. She later became head of the women’s costume department, a position she held until her retirement in the mid-1960s.
