Love Letters Suit Sealed: Comedian Roseanne Barr settled her multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the National Enquirer and the Star on Tuesday. The suit concerned love letters from Barr to her then-fiance Tom Arnold that were published by the papers. Enquirer. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed. The papers agreed to return Barr’s original letters to her. The tabloids said they had received the letters from a source after they had been thrown in the trash. Barr and Arnold (now married) said the letters were stolen from Arnold’s briefcase.
