THE SCUD THAT HIT GREENSBURG
Paul Ciotti in “The Scud That Hit Greensburg” (May 12) captured the essence of the cost of war in one sentence: “It left the families all over the rolling hills around Greensburg shattered, frantic and convulsed with grief.”
Ciotti failed to mention that the disproportionate losses suffered by reserve units are a perfect argument for the reinstatement of the draft. Everyone should bear the burden of our freedom.
