Herschensohn Ouster Demanded: California Democratic Party Chair Phil Angelides has written to KABC-TV and KABC-AM requesting that they remove commentator Bruce Herschensohn, who has formed a committee to seek a U.S. Senate seat, or give Democrats equal time. Last month, KABC-TV General Manager Terry Crofoot said, “It’s the company’s legal position, supported by the FCC rules, that until (a commentator) is a formal candidate, he or she may remain on the air.” Herschensohn would not be considered a formal candidate until next year.
