New Computer Products Unveiled: Compaq Computer said it is discontinuing all models of Compaq Portable III computers, launching instead a line of PCs based on a new high-speed chip from Intel Corp. Intel’s new 50-megahertz 486 chip is said to be the fastest microprocessor available for business work-group computing.
