Former New Hampshire House Leader Sentenced

CONCORD, N.H. —
The former state House majority leader was sentenced Monday to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to bank fraud and income tax evasion.
Vincent Palumbo, 35, is to surrender on Aug. 2, leaving behind a wife and five children, including 1 1/2-month-old twins. He was ordered to perform 600 hours of community service and to pay all back federal taxes for 1986 to 1988.
