With corsets, push-up bras and girdles making a comeback, can rollers and hair dryers be far behind?

In a word, no, say Clay Wilson and Alex Doyle of Doyle Wilson salon in West Hollywood, who recently showed their take on the curve and structure of hair for the ‘90s.

“It’s a set and curl with no, or very little, comb out,” Wilson said of the anything-but-natural looks gallivanting down the runway. “We’ve been doing this for a while, but Linda Evangelista made it more acceptable when she wore uncombed curls during the Paris shows.”

The mostly short do’s varied from hair-sprayed bubbles to stiff ringlets.

How to: Drench clean hair in Joico I.C.E. Gel and set on plastic rollers in the desired design. Then sit under the hair dryer until dry and crispy. Remove rollers and go. If you want a softer look, crunch gently with fingertips. To save time, spray damp hair with Joico Travallo and set on sponge rollers.
