OXNARD : 1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Head-On Crash
A Port Hueneme man died Sunday night in a head-on collision in Oxnard, police said.
Jorge Batalla, 56, died about 9:45 p.m. after the car he was driving struck another car on Ventura Road north of Hemlock Street, police said. Rene Delagardie, 29, of Oxnard, was injured in the accident.
The car she was driving was struck when Batalla’s vehicle crossed the center divider, police said. Both were taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, where Batalla later died.
