CAMARILLO : Marijuana Found in Raids; 4 Arrested

Narcotics agents have arrested four Camarillo men on suspicion of cultivating and selling marijuana, a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department report said.

Search warrants issued for three locations in Camarillo and Somis on Tuesday morning led to the discovery of 11 marijuana plants and about three ounces of marijuana packaged for sale, the report said. Several doses of steroids were also found, authorities said.

Marijuana raid--A story that appeared in The Times on Wednesday concerning a marijuana raid incorrectly reported the status of Clayton Clements, 20, and Robert Eckman, 21, both of Camarillo. Clements was cited on suspicion of personal possession of marijuana. Eckman was arrested on outstanding traffic warrants and booked into Ventura County Jail. He was released Wednesday.

Arrested were Roy Koyoma, 20; Cory Hazen, 19; Robert Ekman, 21, and Clayton Clements, 21.

The arrests culminated a one-month investigation by the Sheriff’s Department, the Santa Paula Police Department, the California Highway Patrol and the district attorney’s office, the report said.
