BASEBALL : DAILY REPORT : ANGELS : Langston, Winfield May Be All-Stars

At least two Angels probably will be added to the All-Star team Thursday, when pitchers and reserves for the American League squad will be announced.

Leading candidates to represent the Angels July 8 in Toronto are pitchers Mark Langston, Chuck Finley and Bryan Harvey, first baseman Wally Joyner and right fielder Dave Winfield.

Although Finley has ranked among the AL leaders in victories all season, his chances of being picked are slim because he’s scheduled to start Sunday at Texas and would be unable to pitch Tuesday.

The Angels announced an extension of their contract with KTLA, Channel 5 for three years, through 1995. The new agreement includes options for KTLA to increase its number of telecasts from 50 to 60 per season.
