Victim Identified
The body of a 21-year-old man who had been found stabbed to death Saturday morning behind a church has been identified as Luis Alberto Arango of El Toro, authorities said.
A passerby found Arango’s body next to a block wall behind the El Toro Baptist Church, 23302 El Toro Road, at 7:55 a.m. Saturday, Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Bob Rivas said.
“Beer cans were found at the scene, indicating there may have been a drinking party” before the stabbing, Rivas said.
Arango suffered multiple stab wounds to the upper torso, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, Rivas said. An investigation is continuing.
