‘Corporate’ Crimes Rated: out of four Americans think corporate executives should be held personally to account for environmental “crime,” according to a survey commissioned by Arthur D. Little. Eighty-four percent--regardless of age, race, gender and income--believe that damage to the environment is a serious crime. Other corporate crimes rated as “serious” by respondents: worker health and safety violations, 74%; price fixing, 60%, and insider trading, 40%.
