Retail Gasoline Prices Dip: Retail gasoline prices dropped a penny during the past week, an American Automobile Assn. survey showed. The average nationwide price for a gallon of self-serve regular unleaded was $1.135, the survey said. The price has fallen 3.7 cents since June 4. Analysts said prices have fallen because demand for gasoline has remained low during the recession.
